All-on-4 Implant Clinical Residency Program: A Journey of learning and Discovery in Australia

After three years of pandemic-related restrictions, I was thrilled to participate in the All-on-4 Implant Clinical Residency Program organized by the esteemed Peak Dental team in Melbourne, Australia. As a participant in the three-day intensive course, I was impressed by the program's well-structured organization and the exceptional expertise of Dr. Alex Fibishenko and his team.

A Comprehensive Learning Experience

Throughout the program, we attended informative lectures, pre-surgery briefings, and implant surgeries, during which every participant had the opportunity to observe and assist in the operation theatre. Dr. Fibishenko demonstrated his proficiency in full-mouth rehabilitation cases, treatment planning, surgical skills, digital workflow, and prosthesis fitting. The course also provided us with the invaluable opportunity to consult with the team, visit the in-house dental lab, and observe the fitting of prostheses to patients' mouths.

Exploring Australia's Beauty

In addition to the stimulating surgeries and educational sessions, the Peak Dental team treated us to a delightful array of Australian seafood, steak, and dairy products, and provided us with a warm hospitality and exceptional service. Our free time was spent exploring Melbourne's noteworthy landmarks, such as the casino, Graffiti Lane, shopping malls, and wine yards.

Following the course, I embarked on a journey to Sydney, Hobart in Tasmania, and Melbourne, where I experienced the unique charm of each city, from the vibrant cosmopolitan feel of Sydney to the historical richness of Hobart and the cultural diversity of Melbourne. I was particularly captivated by the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains and the colorful bathing boxes of Brighton Beach.

The All-on-4 Implant Clinical Residency Program and my travels throughout Australia provided me with an enriching learning experience, fresh perspectives, and unforgettable memories. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity and look forward to putting my newfound knowledge into my dental practice.
